ILLINOIS COALITION FOR CLEAN AIR AND WATER (ICCAW)*
This state-wide coalition is comprised of “family farmers and community groups advocating for sound policies and practices that protect the environment, human health, and rural quality of life from the impacts of large-scale, industrialized livestock production facilities.” Supportive resources available, including for food safety.
ILLINOIS GREEN ALLIANCE*
The goal of the Illinois Green Alliance is to “combat climate change in Illinois” by making “zero buildings feasible, affordable, and so commonplace that every building in Illinois by 2050 is net zero.” This non-for-profit group argues that "green infrastructure is key to strengthening neighborhoods and improving the quality of life for everyone.”
